Duck Ring
Ducks feet are cold-proof, their feathers insulate them, and they have three eyelids. Males are called Drakes, females are Hens, and babies are Ducklings. If you go to visit them at a lake bring a bag of peas as bread is not healthy for them.
This contented duck is resting. The feathers at the tail are called rectrices. These feathers help with steering and maneuverability during flight.
This duck shown is in the shiny finish.
Each piece is available in two finishes:
• Antique Tumble Finish – a darker, softly antiqued finish that highlights the sculptural details.
• Shiny Finish – a highly polished surface with a bright, reflective appearance.
Select designs are also available in 14k gold over .925 sterling silver. If you don’t see it as an option, please inquire as we can gold plate any piece for you.
Every piece is individually hand cast and finished, which means subtle variations will naturally occur. These small differences are part of what makes each piece unique.
