Our Buy Cruelty Free ring was designed to honor all the animals tested on against their will in laboratories. The band is about 10mm wide and varies slightly by size.
More than 100 million rats and mice alone are experimented on annually. Additionally, millions of other animals used include monkeys, pigs, frogs, dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, birds and fish. The inner part of the rat paw print has a hidden heart. Rats make wonderful pets and are actually smart, clean, and sentient.
The inside says BUY CRUELTY FREE. It reminds us to purchase items that say "Not Tested on Animals," "Cruelty Free," or have picture of a Bunny. Then we know we are doing our part to not participate in this testing whenever possible.
Each piece is available in two finishes:
• Antique Tumble Finish – a darker, softly antiqued finish that highlights the sculptural details.
• Shiny Finish – a highly polished surface with a bright, reflective appearance.
Select designs are also available in 14k gold over .925 sterling silver. If you don’t see it as an option, please inquire as we can gold plate any piece for you.
Every piece is individually hand cast and finished, which means subtle variations will naturally occur. These small differences are part of what makes each piece unique.
